What is an Independent Contractor?

An independent contractor is a freelancer who provides services to another business entity based on the specific terms and conditions in a verbal/written contract as a non-employee.

How do you assign VSPs?

We assign virtual support professionals (VSPs) based on the types of projects that the VSP will be working on and skills needed. Before we assign a VSP, we consult with you to learn what projects you will have your VSP work on. Based on this information, we identify a VSP with the appropriate skills for the project to assign to you.

Is a Written Agreement Required When Performing Contract Work?

Yes. It describes the term and condition and relationship between the Independent Contractor and client.

What tasks can my VSP help with?

Your VSP can help you with just about anything. From marketing, bookkeeping, executive assistance, paralegal work and more, we can pretty much do anything that can be done virtually (online, over the phone).

Will I get the same VSP each time?

You can request to work with the same VSP based upon the VSPs availability. But, all of our VSPs are dedicated. They can quickly learn to your needs and the way you like things to work.

What if I need a variety of different specialties and projects?

All our VSPs are specialists in their field. If you have a wide variety of needs, we can create your very own dream team of VSPs – bookkeeping, executive assistants, marketing gurus and IT aficionados.

How will I know how many hours I have used?

Once you have signed up, you can access a client portal that shows all your tasks in progress, hours that you’ve used and how many hours remain in your plan.

Do my hours roll over?

No, they do not. For this reason, we suggest that you conservatively estimate how many hours of assistance you will need before selecting a plan. If you need additional hours, you can upgrade at any time.

What happens if I run out of hours?

No problem! If you run out of hours, upgrade your plan. You will have 30 days from the time of your upgrade to use your newly purchased hours.

Is there an extra fee if I add another member of my business to my account?

No. We only require that the user be a member of the account owner’s business and would be qualified to sign up for their own plan under our Terms of Use. If they satisfy these requirements, the account owner only needs to inform the VSP of the new user for them to be able to use the service

How does the pricing work?

We offer monthly plans in increments of 5, 10, 15, 30, 40 and 60 hours per month. Simply visit our plans and pricing page, sign up for the package of your choice and that’s it!

How does the billing cycle work?

You are billed on the day that you sign up and then billed again every 30 days thereafter.

For example, if you sign up on March 14, you will next be billed for your plan on April 14. If you upgrade your plan before the end of the 30 days, your billing period will reset from the day of the upgrade. To use the same example, if you upgraded your plan on March 30, the next date that your credit card would be charged is April 30. Your card will be automatically charged each month unless you cancel your plan by phone or email.

Are MCH Virtual’s VSPs employees or freelancers?

All of our VSPs are Independent Contractors. MCH Virtual wants to lower your cost and risk while providing professionals that take pride in their work. Remember, we work smarter, not harder.

What hours do VSPs work?

Our VSPs are available between the hours of 8 am – 6 pm, Monday through Friday. A VSP must have at least 20 hours of availability to be a part of the MCH Virtual team. Our VSPs work all across the country and, wherever possible, we match you with a VA in your time zone. If the VA’s time zone differs from yours, we will let you know. You can submit requests 24-7 through our online portal or over email.
